Each Vapor Thrift Store location serves three main purposes:

1. Vapor Thrift Store generates revenue to accomplish the mission. Each location primarily supports the mission of Vapor Sports Ministries, but also supports other organizations that align with its mission as well. Ninety-five percent of Vapor Thrift Store's profits are granted to Vapor Sports Ministries and other similar non-profit organizations. In 2010, Vapor Thrift Store had $106,000 available for these grant purposes. That year, it granted $100,725 to Vapor Sports Ministries.

2. Vapor Thrift Store generates humanitarian aid to accomplish the mission. The primary focus of this purpose is international humanitarian aid. Vapor Thrift Store equips Vapor Sports Ministries with humanitarian aid for the establishment of its centers in third-world environments. More than 5,000 pounds of aid was delivered to Vapor centers in Kenya and Togo in 2010. The secondary focus of this purpose is local humanitarian aid. Vapor Thrift Store equips similar non-profit organizations and churches with necessary aid for the homeless, disaster victims, impoverished households, values-driven and faith-based ministries, as well as others. More than 70,000 pounds of aid went to local humanitarian aid in 2010.

3. Vapor Thrift Store casts the vision of Vapor Sports Ministries—the store’s primary beneficiary. If you visit one of our store locations, you'll quickly find that it has a section devoted to educating shoppers about the mission behind the store.
